Thanos
One of the most iconic and powerful villains in the Marvel Universe. Created by Jim Starlin, he made his first appearance in "Iron Man #55" in 1973. Born on the planet Titan, Thanos is known for his obsessive desire to acquire cosmic power and conquer the universe.
He is characterized by his purple skin, imposing physique, and the use of an Infinity Gauntlet, which grants him absolute control over reality, time, space, and cosmic power when equipped with the six Infinity Stones.
Thanos is motivated by his belief that the universe is unbalanced due to overpopulation and resource depletion. He believes that by eliminating half of all life in the universe, he can restore this balance and bring about lasting peace. This leads him to seek out the Infinity Stones, which he uses to perform the snap, an act that instantly eradicates half of all life in the universe.
